Hatch Show Print

Just returned from a trip to the US, visiting Nashville and Memphis. One of the many highlights was Hatch Show Print in Nashville. Hatch was founded over 100 years ago and still makes concertposters and reprints of old posters, using letterpress printing. Being in Nashville of course a lot of their clientele came from the country music world. Although the current location isn't the original (the old building was demolished), it sure looks authentic and the sign outside is the vintage original from the 1940's.

Steinweiss Script

Very pleased to see this new font based on the designs of Alex Steinweiss (the "inventor" of the record album jacket). It's designed by Michael Doret and available here and here.
